Customer Data Hub live at Lincolnshire County Council

AgilityWorks and Mouchel have completed the first phase of the Customer Data Hub at LCC on time and to budget. The project utilises SAP MDM (and related NetWeaver components) to provide a central repository of accurate, up-to-date customer data that is to be shared with the district councils.
Overview:
Current data from the social care, customer relationship management (CRM) and library systems is to be cleansed and integrated into the CDH. The CDH will be updated with new births and deaths by the registrars as well as details such as marriages and changes of address.
The project was delivered within 4 months from design to first phase go-live. The first phase delivers the solution to a subset of central and local data stewards as well as registrars to record customer changes (e.g. births). The primary focus of this phase is to provide consolidated customer data, with address data validated and delivered through the National Land and Property Gazetteer and managed through Central Data Stewards to determine the ‘golden customer records’.
Technology solution:
SAP MDM 7.1 at the heart of the customer data hub with:
- User Interface provided through SAP EP and WebDynpro
- Integration with source systems via SAP PI
- MDM7.1 Enrichment controller for integration with NLPG address data
- Data quality reporting through SAP BW
