Adobe’s recent announcement to cease development of their flash player for mobile browsing might have caused a few raised eyebrows, but perhaps wasn’t unprecedented. The debate could rage about what lead them to the decision, but regardless of their motivations Adobe have lead us to an interesting place, and one that has got me thinking about HTML 5.0 and the potential for it to fill the boots of mobile Flash as it drifts into the ether of cyberspace.

In my last blog I elaborated on recent experiences integrating a bespoke, pre-existing user interface with the SAP CRM product. We were able to deliver a pretty slick demonstration to the customer; the success of which owing, in no small part to the ESOA capabilities of the CRM product. My Recent Experience Integrating a Bespoke e-Service UI to SAP CRM.. The Good the Bad and the Better!

I recently worked on putting together a demonstration for a prospective customer looking to migrate their existing bespoke e-Service web application to a SAP CRM based solution. During the implementation of the demonstration we identified an opportunity to innovate by re-using (instead of re-creating) elements of the existing solution and integrating them with CRM via the products ESOA capabilities. The approach we took allowed us to demonstrate a flexible and cost effective solution delivered in an agile fashion … so how did we do it?
