SAP are going big on digital innovation, driving their SAP Leonardo agenda forward as the answer to all digital challenges.  Many customers are still unclear on what Leonardo entails and how it can drive innovation and digital transformation.  In this informal, round-table based day we will take a deeper look at the step-change in SAP’s approach to innovation and how a rapidly changing technology landscape is offering a different approach for their customers.  We’ll explore both technology and ways of working, and how much of the focus is on using solid UX and Design Thinking approaches to support effective innovation.

We will walk through some of the key technology evolutions, such as Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence, which SAP are developing primarily to support their SAP Leonardo agenda but also from a broader and more general ERP perspective.  We will discuss how things like HANA, Cloud Platform, IoT, Blockchain and other developments offer potential value to enterprises, and try to answer some key questions, such as:

  • Where does this innovation sit in relation to SAP’s drive from ERP to S/4HANA?
  • What are organisations typically exploring with SAP’s new technology capabilities?
  • Just what is SAP Leonardo?
  • Why is Design Thinking so important?
  • How can you drive innovation forward, with less risk and shorter timescales?

Delivered to you by Gareth Ryan, SAP Mentor and AgilityWorks’ Director of SAP Technology, alongside guest speakers: Anne Mette Høyer, SAP's Director of Leonardo IoT Solutions and Richard Hynes-Cooper, Northern Gas Networks' Head of Innovation.
